Meet the Visionary Leader and Founder: MaryAnn Efesoa DNP, MSN/APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, BSN/RN
MaryAnn Efesoa began her nursing journey in 2002 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), working in a nursing home while pursuing her degree at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN, RN) and subsequently worked at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton and Flower Mound, Texas.
In 2012, MaryAnn earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Texas Woman’s University. She then worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care and internal medicine at Texas Health Resources.
Continuing her professional growth, she earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2018. In 2024, MaryAnn expanded her scope of practice by becoming a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). That same year, she founded MedCare House Call Providers, to bring accessible, high-quality healthcare directly to patients’ homes.
Her vision for MedCare House Call Providers is to bridge the gap in healthcare access by offering comprehensive medical and mental health services in the comfort of patients’ homes, focusing on personalized care and improving overall health outcomes.
